it was easy for me to give up bars,smoking,gamblin,lottery playing,but the hardest thing Which I still struggle with is something I never ever thought I would get hooked on whcih is what I am on now the computer.which can be used for Good or EVIL.the Good by telling lost people about JESUS WHO DIED FOR OUR SINS THE WHOLE WORLDS.and my other thing to get rid of is sports and women.
GOD MUST ALWAYS COME FIRST.But when you are as backslidden as I was Satan never lets you forget IT so all the prayers I can get would help.I need more BIBLE IN ME AND LESS Computer and Lustful thoughts..JESUS/GOD MUST ALWAYS REMAIN MY PRIORTIY..Please pray that I WON’T live in the past and trust the LORD SO I Can be a MORE POWERFUL NOT POWERLESS WITNESS. I Desire to see souls saved and tell others but my fear is not necessarly the courage but afraid of getting or saying the wrong thing or Not having enough Bible in me to show I am real and not fake Like so many out there are.I wannna be and stay REAL FOR GOD.thanks

Hi Nathan soglad you could go on this trip. Ohio is very beautiful this time of year also–autumn and all. I have a neice in Ramona near SanDiego. They live where 4 mountain ranges come together…yes they have a pool and hot tub and and wonderful believers. We go out occasionally. I love the pic of the two seals chatting. You are so fortunate to have 2 friends of likemind to travel with. You’ll look back on this trip w/fondness when you are hitched I bet. Each era in our lives is worthy of praise because Christ has ordained it so for us. Trials come in various packages but each era posseses one or two or three, ha. He is making us more like HIM I don’t want to miss anyone of those that He has for me-bec it is from Him and anything from Him is what I’m supposed to learn. Sometimes, it take me several rounds in the wilderness to learn the same lesson. Did you hear what the miners in Chile, after 2 months of entrapment said…they were wearing teeshirts w/scripture and giving glory to God for the rescue…awesome. God wants to bring glory to Himself. And dont worry, He will have a wife for you someday…He will honor your preparation and waiting for His best. Dont rush ahead of Him—His timing is perfect. I wrestle with His timing myself. But then so did Lazarus’ sisters in the Bible. We all do. I will pray for your trip and friends tonite…Sat evening here Know that we love you and want God’s best for you also. Stay close to HIM. Wow you guys! So awesome! I had heard about your trip, but had no idea you all would be “roughin it” like this!!! I honestly don’t know if I could survive. But I will keep the three of you in my prayers as you continue on this journey. I know that wherever you all are in your lives, God has much to reveal to you during this trip! You all made such a conscious decision to remove yourselves from your daily lives to grow closer to Him and you are doing it in such a unique way. I know you will be truly blessed! Continue to be safe and Curt, please stop reading the paper and driving at the same time.

The ROOSTER article was a challenge that we surely need from time to time. It will remind us to be more aware of our actions instead of just bombing out there in the midst of the people who are watching moves we make. More importantly God is watching. Not to catch us up, but just lovingly wanting to guide us in all godliness and good character…like HIM. We want to please him before anyone else in our life. Sometimes it’s difficult to get to that place. I know we can all catch onto looking to Him for the strength and intelligence that we need for life’s daily activities…it’s a routine we need to practice..going to Him relationally. He is our Father and Friend Thanks for the challenge Nathan. We do need to judge our actions and motivations Go Bro..keep up the good thinking…the mind must be renewed by the word of God everyday so we do not hear the cockadoodledoo.
